Paracosm ~ where I choose to live

Most of my life I've enjoyed seeing the world through a creative filter (yes, the study of art was one of my bachelor degrees in college) and today I encountered a word that delighted me thoroughly. Paracosm ~ I found it while reading today's blog entry on Seth Godin's blog (another enriching discovery). I suppose my own loss at a young age propelled me into adopting the imaginary tendency (while having to stay firmly grounded in reality to survive) but hey, what is the harm in that unless I quietly go too far down the road to insanity? There should be more paracosms in the world when possible.
