Scary Monkey Get Away From Me

I'll admit I'm not easily scared but one of the scariest things I can think of are monkeys. Yes I've had first hand experience with live monkeys in Thailand and Bali -- no there is nothing cute about them. Today I went to see a free photo exhibit entitled "Holy Cow" in the Bank of America building at 555 California Street. I saw a riveting image that made me have to write about this. Below is an image called "Untitled #95" by photographer Simen Johan, 2001. This image really sums it up.

The only kind of monkey I want to see is one in my rear view mirror as I'm moving away from it at great speed. Yikes.
