Styling my Soles with a One for One Philosophy

Tuesday night I attended a corporate event called "style your soles" hosted by Steelcase at their showroom in San Francisco, the speaker was very engaging and inspirational. Entrepreneur Blake Mycoskie of TOMS Shoes gave a presentation about his firm and how it got started only five years ago and how it's grown to a company that has sold almost 2 million shoes with the caveat of "one for one". For every pair of shoes sold, TOMS donates a pair to an overseas child in need. Also, the event had a presentation and silent auction for Drawbridge which is an arts program for homeless children in the Bay Area.
