Not my typical Friday night but FUN ~ of course

Yesterday afternoon and last night was an unusual and interesting event. I had the good fortune to represent our NPS Tennessee Valley Mounted Patrol with my regular patrol partner Christopher and our boss Bruce to an event at the Mill Valley Recreation Center. Slide Ranch held an award dinner to recognize a patron and raise funds. The idea for our program's appearance is for for awareness and support of our program through public outreach. We were well received and made a lot of good contacts, and the director of the event, Charles Higgins, made an announcement about us to the crowd.
