It's what Teddy Roosevelt said...

Apparently when Theodore Roosevelt visited Colorado in 1901 he said "the scenery bankrupts the English language."

So true because the views demand a certain quiet and reverence. A trip on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad embodies that statement for sure.

I'm here in Durango for several days and taking some much needed rest until Monday where I'll commence my westward journey to home over a five day period.
