Elwha Dam Removal and salmon spawning

Today was very educational for me about salmon migration and the big local (and national) news of the Elwha River Restoration Project. Yesterday was the official ceremony announcing the kickoff of the dam removal project, apparently the largest dam removal in history. I went with my cousin Dan and his wife Marylou to see the community outreach kiosks at several various locations on the Elwha River.
