There's a place in North Beach, San Francisco called Peña Pachamama that is a jewel of a place. I can't reveal how many times I've been over the years now but let's just say more than a handful. About five nights a week there is live entertainment. Just a few weeks ago I went with a friend in hopes of catching the Flamenco Thursdays show but at the last minute there was a change and we instead were treated to live music for two hours. The performers were owner Eddy Navia and his son Gabriel, pictured above ~ it was amazing. Go if you can is all I can say ~ good food, excellent entertainment, cozy environment.
