Neighbors to the north ~

~ Canadians. All I have to say is that the border patrol is getting more thorough all the time. I crossed over yesterday around 3pm at the Sumas (Huntington) station but maybe I look very suspicious because they went through every item on my motorcycle and asked me question after question including "Do you have any visible scars, marks, tattoos?" I thought at one point that they were going to call my place of employment to verify my answers. But here I am at the beautiful Sylvia Hotel on English Bay in Vancouver pictured below, about to head out for Horseshoe Bay to catch the ferry to Vancouver Island. I have to put in a plug about this weather again, sunny and warm (a little bit too much so).
